ADM Statement on United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement
2019/12/10
Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today issued the following statement:
“ADM is a strong supporter of USMCA, and we applaud the leadership of the Administration and Congressional negotiators to bring this agreement to finalization. We urge swift passage in the House and Senate so the agreement can be implemented as soon as possible in 2020.
“USMCA stands to provide meaningful benefits for agriculture and food industries in all three countries—furthering already important cross-border trade of food, feed and fuel across our borders. We look forward to continuing to work with policymakers on this and other trade opportunities that are critical to the food and agriculture industries and the rural economies that depend on them.”
