ADM Announces Management Appointments

DECATUR, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today announced the appointment of Matthew J. Jansen to president, Oilseeds business unit and Matthew D. Bruns to vice president, Corn Processing. The appointments are effective immediately.

Jansen’s scope of responsibility includes all commercial activity, operations and production for the Company’s Oilseeds business unit. Since joining ADM in 1989, he has held a range of merchandising and management roles, including serving as president of the Company’s operations in South America and president of the Company’s Grain Group. Most recently, he served as vice president, Risk Management and Ethanol Trading and Sales.

Bruns will oversee ethanol trading and sales as well as the Corn business unit’s commodity risk. He joined ADM in 1995 and was most recently vice president, Export Trading, for the Company’s Grain Group. He had previously served in management roles in the Company’s merchandising operations in Europe and China.
