Joseph Taets

Joe Taets is senior vice president, Nutrition Operations for ADM. In that position, he has oversight of all of ADM's global Nutrition operations and also leads Nutrition M&A integration, Nutrition pricing and risk management as well as Global PMO. Taets is a member of the company’s Executive Council.

Previously, Taets served as senior vice president and president, Asia Pacific (APAC) in Singapore where he oversaw and was the senior executive of 42 APAC countries. Taets also served as president, Global Business Readiness and vice president, Global Procurement. As such, he oversaw the company's global initiatives to reduce costs, improve efficiency and standardize business practices, and led ADM's global procurement organization. Before that, Taets was president of what was then ADM's Agricultural Services business unit, responsible for the commercial activities and operations of the company’s agricultural origination, wheat milling, and global trading businesses, as well as its global transportation network. He has also served as president, ADM Europe, Middle East and Africa, and president, Grain. Taets joined ADM in 1988.

Taets serves on the boards of ADM-Vland Biotech Shandong China and ADM Australia Holdings. He also represents ADM on international boards in Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Holland, Mexico, Singapore and Switzerland.

Taets holds a bachelor's degree from Iowa State University and an MBA from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
