James Prince

James Prince is chief compliance and integrity officer of ADM. In this role, Prince oversees the Global Compliance and Regulatory & Scientific Affairs teams. Prince joined ADM in April 2025.

Prior to joining ADM, Prince served as Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Legal Sustainability for Baker Hughes. Prince also served as General Counsel of Government Affairs for Schlumberger where he managed governance aspects of the Trade and Customs Compliance program, as well as material governmental reviews, investigations, and audits. 

Prince has over 20 years of experience leading compliance programs, implementing strategic internal controls to minimize risk, and establishing a culture of integrity. Furthermore, his expertise includes regulatory compliance, sustainability, mergers & acquisitions, crisis management and enterprise risk management.

Prince holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Appalachian State University and a Juris Doctorate from the American University Washington College of Law.
