ADM Directors Declare Cash Dividend

The Board of Directors of Archer Daniels Midland Company today declared a cash dividend of ten cents a share on the Company’s stock payable December 18, 2006 to Shareholders of record November 17, 2006.

This is ADM’s 320th cash dividend and 300th consecutive quarterly payment, a record of 75 years of uninterrupted dividends. As of September 30, 2006 there were 657,433,420 shares of ADM stock outstanding.
